Back in 1945, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins had a pretty great idea. See, they were big ice cream people. So while every other ice cream shop stuck with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, they decided to go big. Like, “let’s offer 31 flavors instead” big. Fast forward about 75 years, and Baskin-Robbins has over 2200 US scoop shops and is over 1400 flavors strong. And the best part is, since 2013, Baskin-Robbins at Home has brought many of those flavors to the grocery store - we’ve got flavors for everyone, for every day, and for every occasion. There’s always a yay-worthy flavor ready for you. And we think that's pretty cool.

On May 18, 2000, Baskin-Robbins achieved the Guinness World Record for the "World's Largest Ice Cream Scoop Pyramid" by using 3,100 scoops of ice cream.

Famous Baskin-Robbins scoopers include President Barack Obama, TV hosts Leeza Gibbons and Rosie O'Donnell, Chef Bobby Flay, actresses Julia Roberts, Taryn Manning and Chandra Wilson and New York Yankees pitcher Phil Hughes.
